Passenger Statistics

June was another very good month for air travel at the Saskatoon Airport. Passenger traffic was up 6% over last June; and year to date traffic is up 8%, continuing the upward trend. June of 2008 marked the 50th consecutive month of growth. The additional air service capacity from both Air Canada and WestJet has been well-received by our Community. With the onset of the summer peak season, we expect our growth in seat capacity will help meet the demand created by the growth in passenger traffic.
