Parking Lot Expansion
The Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport will be undertaking a multimillion project to expand the public parking lot by 500 stalls and enhance airport roads this summer.
Even with the expanded parking lot, no customer will have to walk more than 200 metres - a short city block - to the terminal building. The overflow parking lot, which we've had to use periodically during the past two years, will no longer be necessary.
Aviation History Display
The Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport celebrated its 75th Anniversary in 2004. Take a walk through 75 years of time when you view the Airport Historical Display located on the second floor of the terminal building. The display features highlights of 75 years of Aviation History dating from June 1, 1929 when the Saskatoon Airport was licensed for daytime aviation use through more recent times including October of 2002 when the newly expanded terminal was completed. As well, enjoy our newest addition, an Aviation Artifact Display.
Donations (loans) of aviation artifacts are welcome.
