The Fixed Base Operators, Esso and Shell provide business and itinerant aircraft refueling, temporary parking and executive passenger lounges, deplaning and enplaning.
Our Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Services accomodate aircraft category 6 (aircraft length between 28 and 39 metres long, max. 5 metres wide) between the core hours 0630 to 2400, earlier and/or later, seasonally adjusted to accommodate airline schedules.
The Saskatoon Airport has two runways (09/27, 15/33) with ILS, BC, VOR and NDB approach aids. The runways, terminal apron and taxiways have a pavement load rating of 11. The general aviation taxiways and aprons have a pavement load rating of 8.
The Saskatoon Airport has a state of the art Nav Canada Air Traffic Control Tower and Flight Service Station. The tower hours of operation are 0600 to 2245 in the summer and 0645 to 2245 in the winter. Transport Canada Civil Aviation is also present at the airport.
